New York good times
Without taking up too much of my vacation I'll briefly describe things now and elaborate later. We had a great flight out and immediately hit the streets. Here's what we did:
- had snacks at a deli near our hotel
- walked up 6th Ave (a.k.a. Avenue of the Americas) past Radio City Music Hall
- briefly glimpsed Central Park from a southerly entrance
- passed by Carnegie Hall
- ate dinner at the Topaz Thai restaurant
- walked over to and inside St. Patricks cathedral
- took photos in and around Rockefeller Square
- walked back over near our hotel and watched some break dancers in Times Square
After a brief stop back at our hotel we headed across the street to Havana Central to eat a little dessert, have drinks, and listen to some great live salsa music. We stayed up a bit after that reviewing the day in photos. Man, if we did that much in a half day I can't wait for the rest of our trip. Cheers!
