More home improvement progress
Today was to consist of a trip to Yelm, WA to get some plants then head back home for more work around the house. And it did. We sped south and arrived at Gordon's Garden Center mid-morning. This place is huge and seems to have very knowledgable staff. We wandered the rows of plants for a while before discovering more across the street from what we thought was the extent of it. There we found a rose we liked and blueberry bushes. We only snagged one rose and two blueberry bushes but were happily on our way back home.
After some lunch some serious productivity began. I dawned a tool belt picked up from a local garage sale and set out to install two more lights in the kitchen while Sarah assembled a display case we purchased on our spree yesterday. There weren't too many setbacks today and we managed to do this, put together a new coffee table and plant the rose, blueberries, and a couple other small plants. We had a busy bee kind of day but got tons done thanks to Sarah's "go getter" home improvement attitude -- which I only appreciate after I survive the hours of hard labor such expectations can entail. I love you, sweetie! We make a great team!

The lights look great, but I think Colby did a great job supervising the display cabinet! What a trooper he is.
