27 birthdays and counting

After waking from sleep this morning I remembered it was my birthday. After doing a little math I realized I was 27 today and lovin' it! After a fantastic New York trip last weekend I really couldn't ask for much today. I had a good day at work mostly in a meeting up in Bellevue where my boss Brian also bought our client and me lunch at Azteca. There, I tried to calmly put away a nearly foot-long plate of nachos. I managed not to get any on me and had a nice time talk with my professional pals. After the afternoon and work ended Sarah and I headed home and she went out to pick me up teriyaki for dinner (one thing I knew about) and a cute chocolate cake (one thing I didn't know about). We happily enjoyed our dinner and did a few chores before watching one of our TV favorites Lost. I actually highly recommend following the link I just made because there are community/fan forums wherein many facets of the complex plot and twists of the show. If you're not too obsessive a personality it's a fun place to e-hang after the show. Anyway, thanks for the phone calls, IMs, and emails today. I had a happily mellow and great birthday. It's always nice to have a reason to celebrate something for someone and it certainly doesn't hurt to be on the receiving end of such a thing. Thanks again and happy birthday to me!

Having been there on the true birth day, I can tell you it was a pretty exciting one. A beautiful fall day in central Oklahoma. So, Happy Birthday to our favorite Okie!
